Vauxhall 20/60 Sedan "Julie" This is our pride and
joy. My mother named her Julie (after a beautiful deaf girl she knew).
Julie was delivered new to New Zealand in 1930. A 2.6 litre
straight six.
Very reliable and often taken out on the
weekends and for friends weddings to functions.
She was unfortunately burned in a fire while in storage many years
ago. Destroying the timber body, but we had a spare body and began the
restoration in late 1999. As it was a cosmetic restoration (ie
Chrome, paint) it was relatively easy.
Restoration was completed in 2000 in time for the Royal Sun Alliance
Rally.
Pictured is Mikie and Hamish in Hamilton passing an old Europa Sign.
